After storage or transport, clothing often no longer looks its best — creases, marks or poor presentation undermine the first impression for the consumer. We press, steam and present your collection so it is immediately ready for the shop floor or dispatch. Our reconditioning service suits both small batches and large seasonal inventories. In addition to making garments presentation-ready, we also handle re-ticketing, new hangtags and supplementary label services on request. The result: clothing that looks as if it has just come off the production line, ready for the end customer.
Benefits
- Professional pressing and steaming of garments after storage or transport.
- Hanger presentation or folded packaging, to your own specifications and retail standards.
- Supplementary label service: new tags, re-ticketing and brand labelling available.
- Fast turnaround — standard volumes are typically ready within one to two weeks.
How it works
- 1
Receipt & inspection
We receive your garments at our warehouse in Vianen or collect them from your location. Each garment is inspected and given a work order. You receive an overview of received quantities and the planned turnaround.
- 2
Pressing & steaming
Expert pressing and steaming removes creases and brings every garment back to its best. We use professional steam equipment suitable for all common textile types. Delicate fabrics are treated according to the care label and your instructions.
- 3
Presentation & packaging
Garments are neatly presented on hangers or folded to your specifications and retail standards. On request we also handle supplementary services such as re-ticketing, new hangtags or brand-specific packaging. Your clothing looks as if it has just come from the factory after reconditioning.
- 4
Quality check & dispatch
After a final quality check the garments are prepared for dispatch. We deliver to your preferred location — store, distribution centre or warehouse — using our own fleet. A delivery note with quantities and specifications is included as standard.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between repair and reconditioning?
- Repair focuses on restoring damage to a garment (zips, tears, buttons). Reconditioning is about making garments that are technically intact look presentable again after transport or storage — pressing, steaming and hanging. Both services can be combined in a single order.
- What quality levels do you aim for after reconditioning?
- We work to your specifications. As standard we aim for every garment to look retail-ready — fully pressed, neatly presented and on the correct hanger or packaging. A quality report per batch is available on request.
- Is reconditioning suitable for seasonal inventories?
- Absolutely. Reconditioning is ideal for seasonal collections that need to be ready for the shop floor after storage. We can handle large volumes and align with your collection changeover schedule. Early booking is recommended for peak periods.
- How is batch quality reported?
- For every order we provide an overview of received quantities, processed pieces and any notes. A detailed quality report with findings per article is available on request. This helps you with inventory management and any supplier claims.
- Can you handle labelling and re-ticketing?
- Yes, re-ticketing and label services are available as an add-on to reconditioning. We attach new price tags, hangtags or brand stickers to your instructions. Deliver the required labels in advance to our warehouse in Vianen.
- What is the average turnaround for reconditioning?
- Average turnaround for standard reconditioning is 1–2 weeks, depending on volume and complexity. For urgent orders we try to accommodate — contact us for options. Larger seasonal inventories are best planned by arrangement.
